Ah, OK. Yeah, rememeber the game against Russia, was the final for me tbh. Very close 5th set, could have gone either way, but you know the outcome ;-).

Vera Zvonareva

Valeria Savinykh

Vitalia Diatchenko - Ekaterina Makarova - Masha Kirilenko - Masha Sharapova - Alisa Kleybanova - Alexandra Panova - Ksenia Pervak - Valeria Solovyeva
Good luck to all russian players

Yeah, it's definitely nice Vera didn't disappear from twitter for weeks or months between tweets this time.

Yeah. I'll say this, that garden would look much nicer if Vera was actually standing in it in the pic.

Yes, pretty much confirms she will not be in Canada next week for Bell challenge, where originally she was on the EL. However, the website did not mention her on the website on the latest players list. Gues we'll have to wait until the Asian tour to see her.....hopefully.
At the moment she is not on the EL for Kremlin cup, with is quite surprising to me. Maybe a WC just before the tournament ? If not, she only is on the EL for Japan and China, at least for the moment.

Perhaps Vera should just call it a season, and rest up, completely heal & then train hard for next season....

Could be a wise choice, if not for the fact that if she does not play anymore this season, she will finish the year around ranking 100. With a bit of unfortune, she will have to play qualies for AO. Not that she should not do that, but with a few more wins under the belt this year, she won't have to. But as said before this year, Vera knows best what she feels and what she needs to be fit again and if this is end of her season, so be it. I rather have her call it a season indeed and be 100% again at the start of the season, being at ranking 100, than take maybe a risk in health, having to start all over again.

If Vera was to sit out the rest of this season, she may be able to get a wild card come the Australian Open. At any rate, whatever is best for her and/or she decides to do is fine by me, ill support her regardless.

I guess she already did that.. Everything that is supposed to go wrong with someone, happened to her.. Just forget this year and think about 2013..

BTW, there's something about an EXO in Chile, and her name appeared with Ana Ivanovic.. Don't know if is true..
