You are confused.

Noelle is American : she has the American nationality. Her parents had formerly the Vietnamese nationality but migrated and changed to American.

Vietnam has decided to give her a Vietnamese passport so that she can play team events for them (Fed Cup, Asian Championships, SEA Games). Though she is by far the best player in Vietnam (she breathed through the national championships), she was not selected to play singles during these SEA Games . Go figure why .

Noelle is her given name. Huynh is her surname.

Mai Huynh is her Vietnamese given name.

Indonesia will get the mixed doubles gold tomorow since Suwandi/Wynne and Prima/Maya get the ticket to the Final!

Sadly in the women's doubles.. Sandy/Septi has lost to Suchanun/Napaporn.. they will face Wynne/Maya in Final.. at least silver in hand!

Septi and Sandy should do better in single!

Best of Luck to :

She lost both after winning the first set . And easily.

In singles, she was leading something like 4-0 in the first set. And finished 6-4. In doubles, she and Yew-Ming took the first set 6-1 I think.

Each time, they tensed up and did not hit their shots through. Which lead the opponents to come back into the match.

Chin-Bee .

Thank you.

I guess the pressure did get to Chin Bee and Yew Ming . I read in the papers that Yew Ming didn't play too well in the mixed doubles. Is that true?
