Leon Hart...Uzbekistan used to be part of USSR (Sovyet Union back then when finally they broke up)...Geographically it is just north of China...I do not know, I am still not used to that they are part of Asia now...Yes, Iroda was the gold medalist at Asian Games last year in Busan, Korea! The Uzbekis people are like Eurasian...they are sometimes like white people but they are like Asian also and even like Turkish I think!

Chaiyoh...Su Su...Maju terus...Ganbatte!!! Asia all the way!!!

Uzbekistan is North of China??? that is something new for me LOL!!! don't u mean South instead?? North of China should be Mongolia.

by the way Irina Selyutina is from Kazakhstan and she is an Asian girl too. Elena Likhovtseva used to be a citizen of Kazakhstan, before she changed to Russian a few years back.

One Question is do you guys consider Israel as part of Asia? as they never take part in any of Asian sports competition. Gegraphically they are. If they are, i should add Anna Smashnova as the number # Asian player

Maju terus Tenis Indonesia!

I think all middle eastern countries should be considered another race other than asian. They're darker skinned, and they don't have oriental traditions, so i don't think its fair to group them as "asians." When you think asians, usually you think yellow-skinned, black hair people, you knoe?

I think you are referring to East Asia, as opposed to Central Asia.

But this is all part of Asia .

I think the Indians, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans and many others would be upset to think people think they are "yellow skinned." Also, many Southeast Asian people are more brown than yellow (Thai, Malay, Filipino, Cambodian, etc.).

Unless you go further and describe Asian people geographically (e.g. South Asian, East Asian, Southeast Asian).
