Thumbs up

Dear The Pea :
It's such a great article !!!! Our local Su-wei fans all love it so much !!!! Thank you !!
Unfortunately our local Su-wei fansite is not a web site. It's a message board in a BBS system. We can only type words (mostly Chinese)on that board, but can't post photos on the board. So I only gave them the Su-wei photos web address so they can check by themselves.
Again, very happy for your (and you guys') support to Su-wei !!!!

Congrats to :

Elena Dementieva for winning Pan Pacific Open! First Tier 1 title!
Make it into the top 5 girl !!!!

Best wishes to Taiwanese & Chinese girls, especially :
Su-wei Hsieh, Yung-jan Chan, Chin-wei Chan, Wen-hsin Hsu, and Chia-jung Chuang !

I really hope Su-Wei doesn't win the Championships, because if she does, the Aus Open will be counted as one of her 10 tourneys, not an extra tourney.

It's not like she can't get through qualifications anyway.

Steveg :
I get those information from our local newspaper

danker :
what do you mean if Su-wei wins the title, she will directly get into the AO main draw, and AO would not be counted as an extra entry ??
If Su-wei doesn't win the title, she will still play the AO qualifying rounds, will that be counted as an extra entry other than the 10 tourments she could play this year ??

Su Wei will have quite some matches to play this Wednesday at the Asian Championships. Hope she will not be too tired...

Already one pic of her posted on the Championships website, as Jiro pointed out.

Should be some more to come tomorrow...

Yes, but I guess you mean whoever survives this tourney .

This is why indeed the Asian men players came. For the women, a few of them are already qualified without a WC.

Most probably the runner-up. Just like for winners of IFT tourneys who get a WC for WTA tourneys. If they do not want it / do not need it, then the runner-up gets it .

For instance, if Su Wei reaches the final against Wynne , she'll get a wild card no matter what.
