Arrow Tammy's Summer Schedule

Finally Tammy does not play all Indoor Tournament this year , she plays Asiangames in Korea during 29 September - 14 October instead.

1. Jul-22 Bank of the West Classic Stanford, CA, USA $585,000 28/32/16 HO
2. Jul-29 Acura Classic San Diego, CA, USA $775,000 48/16/16 HO
3. Aug-05 JPMorgan Chase Open Los Angeles, CA, USA $585,000 48/16/16 HO
4. Aug-12 Rogers AT&T Cup Montreal, CAN $1,224,000 56/48/28 HO
5. Aug-19 Pilot Pen Tennis , New Haven, CT, USA $585,000 28/48/16 HO
6. Aug-26 US Open Flushing Meadow, NY, USA TBA 128/128/64 HO
7. Sep-16 Toyota Princess Cup Tokyo, JPN $585,000 28/32/16 HO
8. Sep-23 Wismilak International Bali Bali, INA $225,000 30/32/16 HO
9. Sep 29 The 14th Asiangames Korea

Sad to know Tammy does not have chance to defend her last year point at Tokyo during Sep 30 - Sep 6, last year Tammy lost to Monica in the final in AIG Japan Open - Tokyo

Hope she holds the 14th Asiangames trophy for Thailand.

Good luck Tamarine.

Thanks Jiro for the news.

It's a pity Tammy won't be playing Shanghai right after the US Open, because that would be a chance to defend some points. Hopefully she can do better at Bali this year.

Good luck at the Asian Games!

Hello Danker,

I really want Tammy to play Shanghai right after the US Open to gain some point. I will let you know as soon as I have any information from Tammy.

I am also surprised she does not intend to play "at home" at the end of the season .

Does Tammy expect to make it at the Championships or simply take some rest?

Unless she had very bad memories of last year Volvo tournament?

That's just Tammy's schedule up to the Asian Games, I think.

She'll probably later decide where she'll play depending on whether she has a chance to make the Championships. If not, I'm sure we'll see her compete at Surabaya and Pattaya.

There are not many tournaments left after the Asian Games .

So she could have as well released her full schedule .

Hello Steveg,

As Danker said and I am definitely sure Tammy play Surabaya and Pattaya. Especially playing at home in Pattaya and win the title is her goal.

By the way, Does anyone know if there is Surabaya tournament this year. I could not find Surabaya tournament in WTA tournament schedule. There is only Bali tournament in Indonesia.

It was supposed to be the week before Pattaya.

It means they must have cancelled it again like last year.

I don't think it's official yet, but I think there's a possibility they might move it to Beijing.

I think Tammy should have played in Japan to defend her points for the final, but oh well!

GOOD LUCK TAMMY, I HOPE YOU WIN A TITLE THIS YEAR

Is the asian games once every 4 years, or every year?

Hmmmmmm, well she will lose 128 points by going to the Asian games, instead of AIG Open(Tokyo).
You decide wheather thats good or not.........?
