Me too!

Mi-Ra followed up her two wins in Gifu by beating Chin-Wei Chan in two sets, losing only one game. I hope she continues to play well. :-D

Mi-Ra drew Galina Voskoboeva in the qualies of RG...a tough draw for her. My impression of Galina is she is rather impatient and easy to anger, so hopefully this will bode well for Mi-Ra. Next up would be a slumping Teryn Ashley or Maureen Drake. She could meet up with Edina Gallovits in the final round of qualies, so I'm hoping for that, and an 8-6 win in the third for Mi-Ra.

Mi-Ra is going to have to play solid in this match though, Galina will be tough, but your right brunof, she can win if she plays her game. Wouldn't be justice if she would meet Gallovits and win!! IM praying on this end, mi-ra was in better form last year at this time though making the final in gifu and losing to an amazing player like Ivanovic

Favorites: Dally Randriantefy, Mi-Ra Jeon, Yoon Jeong Cho, Saori Obata
Tamarine Tanasugarn, Shinobu Asagoe, Akiko Morigami, Wynne Prakusya, Janet Lee, Maria Vento-Kabchi, Milagros Sequera, Jie Zheng,
Tian Tian Sun, Rossana Neffa-de los Rios, Miho Saeki, Yuka Yoshida, Catalina Castano, Fabiola Zuluaga, Bahia Mouhtassine, Rika Fujiwara,
Zi Yan, Irina Selyutina, Meilen Tu, Ai Sugiyama, Selima Sfar, and
Nirupama Sanjeev

Wishing you all the best

Mi-Ra lost to Voskoboeva in three tough sets last fall, she had Voskoboeva on the ropes the whole first have of the match....on clay I don't know whether Mi-Ra will be able to find good enough form for this one...

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

I agree about playing Asian challengers, like she did last year. I have a feeling she wanted to experience the GS atmoshere while she still can...

She's taking next week off before playing:

- $25K Kusatsu, JPN
- $25K Seoul, KOR

probably followed by $25K Incheon as well.

Good luck to her.

This is precisely because I have the feeling that Mi-Ra won't be seen again soon in Roland Garros that I took some snapshots of her today (+ YJ watching the match).

Thanks for the pics! How did she play? As poweless as usual, she needs as fast a court as she can get......Hopefully she'll turn it around once hte clay is over!

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

A lot of sad news...

Mi-Ra retired in her 1st rd match at Seoul after leading 7-6 4-3. She also withdrew from the doubles.

She withdrew from $25K Incheon a few days ago too...

I wonder what's going on?

Any news from Mi-Ra? Is she still injured? Because she can't defend her points at Wimbledon we are going to see another 50 + drop in the rankings...I'm guessing around 280.

Mi-Ra entered $50K Los Gatos & $50K College Park, but she's now withdrawn from Los Gatos as well.

I wish we knew the extent of her injury.
