Wink PAW Tour Championship:Betting Odds

Hi Everyone
The top 16 players in the most popular game on Wta World have qualified to for the season ending championship.
Some of you will know that I like a bet on the Womens tennis, and here are my odds on the 16 runner field with my personal opinion on each players chance of lifting this prestigious tournament.
Please note this is a "Fun" thread,so dont be offended if your odds are higher than you think they should be

7-2 Favourite:SANDG
For me the winner this week will be a player proven on the big stage.
Sandg is a proven Slam winner winning the French and reaching the Quarter Finals at Wimbledon."She" for me will not be afraid to play well.

4-1 Second Favourite:WOJTEK
The World No.1.Won the Australian in Style but has buckled under the expectations of the media in the other Slams. But with three other titles this season, she knows how to get the job done.If making a good start will be hard to catch.

11-2 Third Favourite:SPIKEYAIDAMN
Has a "Cult" following.Played well in the three Slams contested, and perhaps a player who performs best on the Big Stage.

13-2 Fourth Favourite:SPEEDSTER
Consistent player who arrived on the tour with a Semi Final showing at the French.Sure to be fighting to the end.

10-1:PETOSP
For me she is one of the most reliable players on tour, always there about at the business end.But yet to strut her stuff in the 4 Slams, and for me might "Bottle" it here if in contention for the title.

11-1:BBYPK
Yet to win on tour, but showed in the Australian and French that she has the game to get the job done.

12-1ANIELROSARIO
Played well reaching the Quarter"s at Flushing Meadow.Used to be quite "Shy" in not revealing her potential on the Forum. But now "Posts" regular and confidence could be rising.

12-1:JAKUB
One of the Work Horses on tour, sure to play well. But probably will come up just short.

18-1:WTA HANDICAPPER
Ended last year and started this on top form. But the dubious decision to play every week has backfired and looks completely over the top now.

20-1:GRICE
Two time winner this season.Could surprise but recent Slam performances tempers confidence

25-1:PINTALED
Unproven on the big stage. But should benefit from the experience of playing this week, and could have a big 2004.

33-1:RTAEL
Superb play at the French.Appears not to have trained on though, and could find this field too daunting.

40-1:BUTCH
Plays the run of the mill events well. But yet to bring her A Game to the big Tournaments.

50-1:BUITENZORG
Very experienced. So surprise that she is yet to win this season.Be another surprise if breaking her duck here

66-1:BIONIC71
Probably the most outspoken player on tour. But always worth listening to,but seems to have let her practice and preparation suffer because of her to be applauded standing up for the integrity of PAW.

100-1:K&J FAN
Surprised most people with her performance reaching the US Open Quarter Final. But improving and a possible Dark horse for a future slam Winner. Not this week for me though.

So,hope you enjoyed this.
All left to say now is,Its Game On

Cool

Revised Odds [After Day One]

7-2 Joint Favourite:WOJTEK
Has made the solid start "Her" opponents on Paw didnt want

7-2 Joint Favourite:JAKUB
Perfection in her play today, not one error.Slam history though suggests she might not sustain this start.

4-1:SPIKEY AIDANM
Looks sharp, and focus as always 100%

8-1:SANDG
Pre race Favourite looked nervous as she dropped her opening game. Not one to panic yet though.

8-1:BBYPK
Ok start by one of the tour"s "Young Guns".

9-1ANIELROSARIO
Has put herself in with a chance on the opening day.Future success depends on game strategy used now.

20-1:SPEEDSTER
The big disappointment of the day.Played with no confidence and a mountain to climb now.

20-1:PETOSP
As usual, makes a slow start when the stakes are high.

25-1:RTAEL
Didnt play, but was seen in the stands watching all three matches and making plenty of notes. Will she put them to good use?

33-1:WTA HANDICAPPER
Looked like her old self in the opening set.But folded when opponent put pressure on.Said at the press conference afterwards that was forgoing practice and taking a night off to gain inspiration by watching the film Sea Biscuit at the Cinema.

33-1:BIONIC71
Played better than pre tournament odds suggested.Looked very contented to after the long season she has endured.

40-1:GRICE
Played a bit sluggish and could be overdaunted by the company she is keeping this week.

66-1:PINTALED
Outplayed on todays evidence. But looked happy just to be there.

66-1:BUTCH
Nothing on this early evidence that she will test the top girls.

66-1:BUITENZORG
Not the start she would have wanted.Last seen hitting plenty of balls on the practice courts.

150-1:K&J FAN
Played like she didnt think she belonged in this company. But is taking the experience all in.

Next revised odds on Friday Morning

Wink

Revised Odds [After Day Two]

3-1 Favourite:JAKUB
Exemplary tennis played again today.Said at "Her" Press conference that more than happy to lead from the front.

7-2:SPIKEY AIDANM
Another class performance from a player who is greatly respected by her peers.Said to the press, that confident her strategy for this week will pay off and everything is going to plan thus far.

4-1:WOJTEK
World NO.1 sat out today. But was seen hitting the ball sweetly in practice.

6-1:SANDG
Showed up with her A game today. When told that many of her fans had made her Favourite to win this Championship commented "Your money looks safe, the way I played today".

8-1ANIELROSARIO
Has impressed many of the Press this week with her game. She told them her current position is pleasing, but there is still a long way to go.

10-1:BBYPK
Played better today.Commented that the experience of her good showing in Australia and France is giving her the confidence needed to contend this week.

16-1:BIONIC71
The surprise player of the championship so far.Is Swinging her racquet freely, and told the press that she has nothing to lose as the pressure is on the other girls above her.

16-1:PETOSP
Solid play today.Mentally said that she felt good, and that was reflected in her performance.

25-1:SPEEDSTER
Much better play from the No.4 seed today.Commented that she felt the heat yesterday, but her coach convinced Speedster mentally that she belonged here.

33-1:PINTALED
Played impressive tennis today.Said to Press, that she still thinks has a chance but has to keep todays level of play up.

40-1:GRICE
Looked a bit sharper today, without convincing the mass"s that she will be a contender for the title.

40-1:WTA HANDICAPPER
Like yesterday was involved in a 3 setter, which after the long season she has had wont have done any favours. But commented that was happy to get some points on the board.

40-1:RTAEL
After doing a lot of research on her opponents Day 1,would have expected to play better than did.

50-1:BUTCH
Surprised the Press room with a much improved performance than yesterday.Told them she is a "Grinder" and wont give up till the "Fat Lady Sings".

66-1:BUITENZORG
Looked a lot more focused today. But still a lot of work needed to worry the rest of this field.

500-1:K&J FAN
Outclassed today.Told the press room that its all a bit daunting but will be trying to get one win at least.

Next update Saturday

Not sure about K&J fan and butch, though.
