Also, couple good wins and results for some young girl is enough for some TF members already to promote some youngster into new or next WTA "star", and to ask for subforum... but in breakthrough case of Simona Halep (currently youngest TOP30 player) things are very clean and nothing is overhyped, so no reasons to wait another month or even year for own subforum!? This Romanian won 3 titles in last 2 months (only Serena won more titles this year so far), reached premier-5 SF (22-3 W/L since middle of May), improve in rankings over 40 places (from around #65 to around #20)... etc... and no signs of slowdown (she just won another title last week).
It is surprising in a way that some of the high ranked players do not have a forum (anymore). There are no requests however to create it either. It is not an automatic that a player ranked high gets one. A forum gets created when there is considerable traffic in the specific player thread to warrant a subforum. When is there not enough activity, it is hardly necessary to keep a subforum going (Cibulkova being a good example here, her forum had hardly any activity and was closed, not leading to any protests for that matter). Some players just simply generate more traffic than others.

It is not common to sticky a specific player thread by the way. We are currently reviewing subforum requests, Halep and Jovanovski are both among the requests.
