Yesterday the 7 day forecast had monday thru sunday as very rainy days for Flushing NY. thursday to sundays forecast has gotten a lot better today. so something is changing as the hours pass. todays and tomorrow's forecast doesn't look so hot. but since 3 days have changed from rainy to little rain. their's hope todays and tomorrows forecast will change for the better too.

Just checked-- and today and tomorrow look grim!

However, Friday Saturday and Sunday (and of course all next week!) are much better. Not sure how they're gonna pull this off...it's gonna be interesting!

Has the US Open ever had to go into a third week like Wimbledon has done many times before? I can't recall it happening in the last 6 years or so....

The last totally washed out day was September 4, 1988.
Which was Sunday if I see well, so that year had to turn to the 3rd week.
