Did they forget Kim and Ai's doubles match ?!?

It's still on yesterday's schedule and there's not a trace of it for today. It's weird, don't you think ? Maybe they forgot it... It's the only second round match that hasn't been played

its ridiculous that half the quarterfinalists are known and kim/ai are yet to play their 2nd round match

How could they schedule it for yesterday? They never ask a player to play doubles before their singles, and Kim had her singles match at night.

The night before, Ai finished her very tough singles match very late. To allow her to get the usual rest period before her doubles would have run the doubles match way too late into the night. So my guess is that the 4 players themselves opted against that.

So it's not like someone is up there trying to make things hard for Kim and Ai; it just worked out this way because they are both still alive in the singles.
