Grand Slam Qualification Stat question

Beygelimir has qualified for slams 5 times prior getting direct entry to the MD for the upcoming AO.
i checked Obziler - and she had 4 before getting herself directly into the aussie of two years ago, so did perebeynis before getting into Wimbledon03.

can you guys think of someone who had to qualify and succeeded to enter, who's done it more than 5 times?

also - which player participated in the most qualification tournies for slams ever?

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

Re: Grand Slam Qualification Stat question

I've only checked a couple of players out so far for slam qualifying events played, and the best I found was Maureen (Drake) who has played 39 slam qualifying tournaments She also qualified for 7 of those, the first being the 1990 US Open, and the last being the 2004 US Open

"Religion has actually convinced people that there is an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. Any if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But he loves you."

Re: Grand Slam Qualification Stat question

wow - quite a feature!!
really heart warming that a player keeps working hard so many year.
to put it in proportions - the longest slam active participations isn't that much higher than her qualification tally
