SERENA WILLIAMS: I played her three times and twice we went to three sets, so it's definitely no easy way of playing Conchita Martinez, especially on clay. She's a clay court specialist, and you know, she's a Grand Slam champion. You can never take that lightly.... I think I had a very tough match my second round myself in this event because Conchita Martinez is a very good player, so that was definitely a tough match...

Question

I wonder if the bottom half of the draw is being held up because Lindsay has informed she has withdrawn or she has given indication that she will withdraw?

Kim Clijsters will be cruising to a Us open Crowd with the type of draws she is getting...Good practise for the new number 1.

Bringing the FYR! GO Dokic, Pierce, Myskina, Mirza, Vaidisova, Dementieva, and Davenport!

Thanks!

Very very nice draw for Alyona! First match probably against Pascual, followed by Maleeva and Sugiyama...Davenport is in her quarter too!

Go Alyona!

How many Wild Cards are there??

I know Angela Haynes and Viktoriya Kutuzova are Wild Cards, but anyone else??

Did Mary Pierce and Saori Obata get in on their own ranking?
