Re: Garbiñe Muguruza

She's having a really good start to the year
No serious signs of rust after half a year off is more than I expected.

Hope she loses in the MD though.
(of course she just had to draw one of the two players I like more than her)

Re: Garbiñe Muguruza

Garbine is doing well which is kind of surprising considering the time off for her medical problems! Gee right through the Qualifying then a win in Rd. 1

Re: Garbiñe Muguruza

Very impressive start to the year. She obviously worked very hard training and preparing to come back. I also think her ankle was bothering her a lot more than she let on last year.

Re: Garbiñe Muguruza

Wickmayer is not living a great moment. Garbine should win this match pretty comfortably.

Re: Garbiñe Muguruza

Sucks Wickmayer had to retire (I wonder what's wrong with her, it was so sudden), I was looking forward to this match as an indication of where Garbiñe stands.
But I guess we can move that to the quarterfinal.

Garbine d Flipkins 6-4 6-3

If you look hard enough, you will find a purpose

give that purpose your time, your money, and your
energy. Therein lies happiness
