Magüi is not confirmed to play here, but I think she'll play because she lost early in Wimbledon. She had to retire due to illness (no news on that yet) from her doubles match. I hope she can recover and if she isn't fit enough, I hope that she rests this week and get ready for the Fed Cup tie against France.

Anyway, if she finally plays here:

¡¡¡VAMOS!!!

What illness? (has there been more news)
I also wonder if Magui and others (Tina) will play this low tier tournaments. But Porto has been cancelled, so there not other tournaments this week. Vamos Magui if you plays.

btw, I have some Computer problems and rare I can visit and post in this forum

Let's hope Magui is okay and can play here & do well. It was a shame that she couldn't do as well at Wimbledon as during her previous few tournaments.

Many players have withdrawn and Magüi hasn't, so I guess it means Magüi is finally playing here. Good luck!

Magüi plays Tuesday. I wonder how difficult it will be to get scores of his tournament...

Hi!!! I met Magui today and I have to say she's sooooooooooooo nice We talked for about 2 hours in the players lounge as we were very bored (the club is dead as matches start at 4) and she is a very talkative girl She told me she had a stomachal virus at Wimbledon against Matevzic and that was the reason she withdrew from the doubles She said she was mad at her bad luck after seeing Maggie's loss vs Suarez and her possibilities in that open draw. She is so tired as she had his brother's wedding this weekend and has been partying so much...she even sang for me a song by Dinio that she danced a lot ( I didn't know that guy sings) Magui's cuban accent is so funny
She told me that has finished her partnership with Kristie as she will retire soon and will play the American tour with Molik. We laughed a lot about her incident @ Warsaw with the bee. By the way, I didn't know that she's got a flat in Barcelona 20 minutes away from mine Although she now lives in Las Palmas she keeps that flat and goes there from time to time. She said that loves my neighborhood (Gràcia) She's studing management at Barcelona University but she 's taking it easy... Then she told me some gossip about players and tournaments but she told me no to say She asked me to show her and the other spanish girls Palermo by night and I will gladly do it

Well, I knew she was nice but not that much. GO MAGUI

Good Luck Magui against Conchita M-G on Tuesday I will only be able to follow the scores for this match, because I'm going on holiday on Wednesday morning to tunisia I am going to try my hardest to find an Internet Cafe in Tunisia, so I can get my daily fix of WTAWorld, and to check on Magui's results at the weekend I just hope she can get another career title
