Kim best Belgian ever!! :)

Last week, Kim became the Belgian no.1 ever in the All Career Prize Money list This is really impressive stuff!!

1. Kim Clijsters: $2 058 278 (no.49)
2. Sabine Appelmans: $2 054 352 (no.50)
3. Dominique Van Roost: $2 013 032 (no.51)
4. Justine Henin: $1 313 130 (no.83)
5. Els Callens: $991 020 (no.123)

Look at the 3-in-a-row (Kim, Sabine & Domi)!
Too bad Kim stopped playing doubles...

Els is almost a millionaire! Let's hope she'll be one after Tokyo

Well, it's true...

She has to save her shoulder, so it's not that bad...

I think it`s a smart decision from her, I am sure she didn`t like it that she had to pull out at the last two grand slams and it was not fair for Ai either.

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

But in 6 months will she re-begin to play double???? Or will she never play doubles in all of her career???

That's the big question!
She's been suffering from her shoulder during her whole life, so it is possible that she'll stop playing doubles for the rest of her life...
She said she'll stop for 6 months, but if the shoulder isn't better by then, she might stop playing doubles forever!

I think it's a wise decision to stop playing doubles. She's been troubled with her arm for so long. She cannot take any risk. Maybe she should have stopped doubles already sooner.

Though I do think it's a pity she cannot play doubles, cause I love to watch her play. She made a great team with Ai.
