Do you think you could share a little more about her? From a few pictures I've seen of her, she looks fairly tall. Is that right? What's her game like? Is she someone who's going to be in the top 200-100 someday? Does she need a couple years to mature? All I know about Alison is that she just got a WTA ranking this summer and had a couple nice runs at 10Ks, but I suppose a lot of players could do that. Do you think she's capable of more?
I also saw her at Wimbledon and I really liked her. She is very much a finesse type player and she was hitting some very imaginative shots so, without knowing anything about her I stopped and watched her for about half an hour. Her very red hair also makes her very striking. She could almost be Dick Norman's daughter . She was actually the only girl I saw this year in juniors who made any impression on me. I would definately be pleased to see her have a successful career, but obviously it is still very early days to start thinking in those terms. Let's see how she gets on over the next 12 months.

That's not very encouraging. I mean, we desperately need good new players regardless of game style, but players with those traits tend to do well in juniors and at the lower tier challenger level and often struggle at the WTA level. Players with simpler, generic but solid baseline games (such as Jovanovski) are likelier to find it easier to achieve consistent (even if not necessarily brilliant) results at the WTA level.
