no women no cry

I know it's a women's tennis forum, but I'm so happy Xavier Malisse finally won his first ATP tour title...
He defeated Jiri Novak in the final of the Delray Beach tournament : 7-6,6-2...

So, without Kim, Justine and Kirsten, we Belgians can't complain that much...

Great job Xavier!
After having lost 6 finals, you really deserve this title!
Enjoy it!

Delray Beach :

1R : XAVIER MALISSE (3) def Morrison (USA) : 6-2, 4-6, 7-5
2R : XAVIER MALISSE (3) def Guzman (ARG) : 6-4, 3-6, 6-1
1/4F : XAVIER MALISSE (3) def Delgado (PAR) : 6-2, 6-2
1/2F : XAVIER MALISSE (3) def Spadea (USA-1) : 7-5, 6-4
F : XAVIER MALISSE (3) def Novak (CZE-2) : 7-6 (6), 6-2

Well done to Xavier He definately deserves it and it's about time

The Belgian guys are doing very well, Xavier and Oli in top 50, Christophe top 100 and if Kristof could just jump a few more spots he'd be top 100 to, so that'd be 4 guys in top 100 from Belgium and Elseneer has the ability to be top 100. It is very surprising they aren't in the world group for Davis Cup but maybe this year they can get back in

I was so happy when I heard the news yesterday evening at 9 pm

Strange Canvas didn't broadcast the final yesterday evening.

Allez, Come-on, ...,

Yep, Xavier truly deserves this win !

I also hoped that Canvas or La Deux should broadcast the game... But men's tennis is apparently only available on TV during the GS or the Davis Cup...
