This article definitely deserves a thread.

Short translation :

Exclusive : Jelena Dokic back to top tennis.

We called Jelena in the hotel, but when she answered she immidiately hanged up the phone when she heard motherborn language. We tried to get in contact with her coach Borna Bikic and her brother, but they are all suspicious towards journalists from Croatia and Serbia, so the comunication with Jelena is not possible at the moment.

But, we talked with some journalists who are following wta tournament in Fes, who were also interested to hear more about Jelena's come back. We heard she played 3 good matches, and that she is close to top form.

In Croatian and Serbian media also on tennis forum, people wrote everything about Jelena .... that she is in contact with Damir, that she is not training with Borna Bikic anymore, that she sold a flat in Zagreb ...

We discovered that she is already 2 months hard training with Borna Bikic. She is training in Zagreb and Monte Carlo and she does not have time for rumours and gossiping.

Other things in the article are more or less already known.

I hope those journalists in Fes switched Jelena's sparing partner with Borna

I'm watching you.

Re: This article definitely deserves a thread.

I am very skeptical about this article. In fact, I believe this is a downright lie. I say this for four primary reasons:

(1) It seems a little too coincidental that the man from Partizan and Damir started talking about Jelena's comeback, specifying exactly which tournaments she would play, and it turns out to be true. How would they know this information if they weren't involved with her?

(2) We have the article from IMG discussing their assistance with Jelena's comeback. In my opinion, I am more inclined to trust information from one of the world's most prestigious, and respected, management agencies than some random Serbian or Croatian newspaper which, itself, states that Jelena did not wish to speak to it.

(3) It states that Jelena is in "top form". We all know that this is not true. She would not be losing to Arn 4-6 2-6 if she was in top form. She's starting to find some form, but she's still got a long way to go. This assertion makes me believe that the article is inaccurate and incorrect.

(4) It would make no sense for Jelena to train with Borna and travel to and from Monte Carlo? What would be the purpose of that? Zagreb has ample tennis facilities and, if we are meant to believe this article, everything is hunky-dory with Jelena and the Bikics'. Why would she waste unnecessary money travelling to Monte Carlo for no ostensible reason?

Overall, this seems to be very shoddy journalism. It states that Jelena did not want to have anything to do with the reporter and then goes on to make unsubstantiated assertions. We all know what Borna and Tin are like; fraudulent con artists. This is probably one of their fabrications. I don't think there's anything to be concerned about in relation to this article. It's quite obvious that the Balkanic media are, on the whole, quite untrustworthy.

I was wondering the same, I hope she is still planning to meet Damir. They were supposed to meet in Rome or in Belgrade after Rome.

I'm watching you.

I don't think we will see Damir at the tournaments to come when Bikic & Co are around to. To explosive mixture me thinks.
