TV coverage...good or worse this year?

Well...last year I only watched the first 3 days due to my
holiday in Bali, so I only didn't have to listen to that nimrod
former Wimbledon quarter finalist James Bond actor/ego
maniac VJ Amitraj. Oh wait, he did get his revenge when he
kept on shoving his son Pratkash matches during the US Open coverage.

First match. VJ fawns over Paradorn, says DH doesn't have a chance.
Now it's 5 setter. LOL. He kept on insulting DH's serve..
"oh it's a low percentage shot". What a dumb thing to say.
Paradorn is simply running out of gas.

They've moved on to Hewitt now. My coverage is STAR SPORTS.

"They'll never win a title on clay" LOL!
"All they do is hit hard" LOL!
"Venus will never win another Tier I title" LOL!
"Venus will never beat another top-5 player" LOL!

Worse worse!!! MUCH MUCH WORSE!! lmao! But it's still the first day you know they have a few more days to change my mind.

I just wish HBO could take their coverage back. I LOVED it! I think last time was in 1998 right? or 1999?

STAR SPORTS has gotten worse. They had 2
guys from Formula 1 racing talking about the
up coming grand prix for 5 minutes!!!

There's something called the "Pepsi"update where
they waste 10 minutes of repeating the scores
of some men's matches that happened.

Alot of hot air from VJ Amitraj. He can't stop
saying the phrase "He's going for Broke".

Nirupama did commentary, and she still seems to
think every Eastern European player comes from
one country. Does she know that Slovenia, the
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, and Poland are
different countries?

In the US, Espn is showing ten hours of coverage all week. That's good.

Over 6 1/2 hours have passed today and less than an hour has been ladies matches. That's bad.

No matter who does the broadcasting in the US, we get about 1 hour of ladies coverage for every 4 hours of mens coverage. Sometimes even worse!
