Can Tamarine Tanasugarn Make it 6 years in a row?

Tamarine Tanasugarn of Thailand has a solid record of reaching the 4R of Wimbledon for 5 years in a row (1998-2002) . Does anyone think she can make it 6th?

This year she's seeded 32nd . Its going to be tough . I thinK Capriati is her scheduled 3r opponent.

Any thoughts?

Good luck Tammy

It is Capriati. Tough but not impossible!

Probably has Sprem in R2 - that'd be a nice match to see.

That is interesting question.

First of all, Tammy has to play good tennis against Akiko and Sprem in the 1st round and 2nd round. I think it's no problem for Tammy to dominate Akiko and Sprem.

Tammy's usually playing with her high confident on grass, she had great record on grass, she defeated Tauziat, Testud, Halard-Decugis, Zvereva, Momo, Raymond, Bovina. Last meeting, Tammy lost to Jenifer in 3 sets on hard court. This time is a good chance for her. Hope Tammy will be playing super tennis against Jenifer. Let see what's happen.

C'mon Tammy, make the 4R for the consecutive 6 years in a row and go further more.

Congrats to Tammy for her fourth title in Japan Women's Open 2010.

Unfortunately, Tammy is in line for a rude shock...bundled out early I'm afraid!

Eleni Daniilidou, Amelie Mauresmo, Alicia Molik, Samantha Stosur and Mary Pierce to kick ass 2006

Sprem will NOT beat her. A lot of people are hyping her up but shes never played a WTA tournament on grass before, and obviously her best surface is clay then hard, while Tammys record at Wimbledon speaks for itself. I think Tammy has a shot at beating Capriati, she seems determined to maintain her great grass record. If she gets past Capriati she might even make the QF for the first time.

I severely doubt Sprem will make it out of the first round. And if she does, I very severely doubt she will beat Tamarine Tanasugarn on grass.
