Woohoo! Got my press badge today... but I dunno if I will be able to use it!

I've only known I was getting one since about three days ago! I'm desperately trying to find somewhere to stay, so far it's proving really hard.

But I REALLY REALLY WANNA GO!

Joey, there are millions of B&B's in Eastbourne, even if you have no joy by phone, if you go down early in the week and look around (esp the many places by the pier), your sure to see 'vacancy' signs. I often go down early and find myself something.
How did you get the pass, for writing a fanzine on a non-league team?!

Haha! Yeah I told em I was running a pre-season feature on tennis and they said "yeah sure, come in for free"...

Seriously tho, A chap I know at TeamWTA.com couldnt go cos he is going to Rosmalen instead. So he sent it me instead

I'm trying to get in a hotel but I think what I'll do is stay in London with friends, go down on the train early monday and scour some b&b's.

If I get down there... and if I can get me hands on some kind of net connection... then yes.

So will you be the only person in the grounds wearing a DCFC shirt or will it be your non-league team (I can't remember who they are!). What colours do they play in?
Look in the road directly opposite the pier, slightly set back from the road, or, if you have no luck, turn left at the pier (if you are facing it and the sea) and there's loads down there as well. You could try a bit closer to the Tennis, but I doubt if you'd find anything closer by the Monday, I usually arrive at the weekend (as I am this year), and always find something.

I was hoping to use my press pass but I have 3 exams to sit that week as my college have stuffed up the whole course.

If you can't get in a B&B in Eastbourne, stay at one in Hastings. It's only about 20 minutes on the train.

Here's a link to useful site that should help you find a B&B / hotel in Eastbourne http://www.1st-4-rooms.co.uk/search....rne&country=EN
If you click on "next" at the bottom there's lots of choice

Cheers for ya help folks, yeah I'll check Hastings out, thanks!

aliceb - Well I'll more than likely be wearing a yellow shirt (for Belper lol), altho I might come down with my retro 1960s rams shirt... who knows. Just as long as I am there
