The field looks much easier than it did 2 weeks ago. Still there are several dangerous players out there.
However, I long for a deep run for Ana in her first ever pro tournament and I'm confident she will to do it. I still have that feeling that Ana will be huge someday and a good start would be awesome
Cool to debut your pro career with a bagel and a breadstick
She defeated Michaela Boev (21 yo, #879 WTA) who actually isn't that easy. Just checked her record and this year she put up some fights: 3-6 4-6 to Siniakova (#9 in juniors), 4-6 5-7 to Vankova (#426 WTA), 4-6 3-6 to Bonaventure (#421), 4-6 6-2 3-6 to Buzean (#393), 2-6 7-6 2-6 to Stevenson (#401) and she even defeated Kramperova (#330 now) 6-1 6-3 one year ago.
So the 6-0 6-1 victory for Ana is quite impressive
It seems like the recent events in her life actually gave Ana motivation
