Re: Ana Konjuh

Bit disappointed that Adrijana didn't put up a better fight. Very good for Ana though rg qualies look possible! I think she's a bit ahead of where vekic was at her age

ugh, why do they all suck????????

Re: Ana Konjuh

Ana and Fiona Ferro played two times, last year Ana won 6-4 6-3 and this year in January Ana won 6-2 6-0 so it's pretty clear who is a favorite in this match...If Ana win, she will be on the edge of top 100 next week.Good luck Ana!!!

Re: Ana Konjuh

Wow--Ana is so impressive

With today's win, her ranking will be ~110-115. She'll be the #6-ranked player born after 1996, after Abanda, Bencic, Kudermetova, Ostapenko and Komardina. Ana is younger than any of them by at least five months and, with the exception of Abanda, has played far fewer tournaments.

If she wins the title, it'll be ~95-100 and #5 among those born after 1996.

Good luck, Ana!

Re: Ana Konjuh

Ana is playing at Tennis Open Junior de Cap d'Ail (G2). In R32 she plays Paterova (#101). Whoever wins will likely face the #6 seed, Vajdova (#77).

Good luck, Ana!

In 3rd round she could play against Francoise Abanda...But I think Ana could be very tired after this tournament in Italy, then trip to France and matches again...while this is gonna be first tournament for Abanda this year?!Was she injured or what???

I'm gonna' go with my girl this time However, I won't be sad if Ana wins it, but if she does, she'd better defeat Abanda too

Re: Ana Konjuh

That means Ana is playing tomorrow her 1st round match, I don't belive that they will play 1st round 3 days...well there's a little more than 300 km from Florence to Cap D'Ali, it's not so far away...hoping Ana will not be too tired...

Re: Ana Konjuh

Ana entered the top 100 for the first time in her career!!!She is #97 on the new junior ranking list with just 14 years and 3 months (Donna Vekic entered the top 100 when she was 14 and a half) so that is very good result from Ana.

In just 8 months from no ranking at all, Ana managed to enter top 100.She played her first junior tournament in August last year and she is not defending no points till August this year.

Re: Ana Konjuh

Dominika PATEROVA (CZE) 7-5 6-7(1) 6-1 Ana KONJUH (CRO)

As I sad, Ana will probably be tired and she was obviously...after first two sets she broke in the third...
