Playing outdoor tournaments in a tropical region has fail written all over, anyway.

Classic tropical thunderstorm. Not that long, but very heavy rain fall.

Sure, the WTA ambassadors don't have basic knowledge in Geography.

Heavy rain falls up to 5 times a week are no rarity in tropical regions. And there's a reason why the ATP event in Kuala Lumpur is played indoors.
