Karo's team (Singapore Slammers) have won the IPTL. She was there from start to finish and played in almost all their "matches" (singles and/or mixed doubles).
Now she's going to replace Safarova at the Hopman Cup. I hope that her 2016 schedule isn't going to be as loaded as 2015's. She needs to do better at the slams next year.
Karo just has one match to go in Hopman cup against Duval since Serena pulled out unless CZE wins the group and advances to the final. She lost to Svitolina 7-5 6-2.
Krystina won her first round in Hong Kong 6-4 6-2, let's hope she wins that $25k.
Karo won 2 of 3 matches at Hopman Cup, now Sydney is next.
Krystina lost in the QF of the 25k in Hong Kong, lost a close 3 setter. Now she's off to Melbourne and I think she needs to play qualies.
Kris had an improved year in 2015, breaking her main draw losing streak, winning three titles, and finishing at #113, but she has yet to finish a year in the Top 100.
Although the #7 seed in qualies, the draw did her no favors, as she gets a nemesis, Shahar Peer (0-3) as her first opponent. Well, she has no points to defend, so nothing to lose.
Disappointing loss for Karo against Halep. There were times when she seemed on the verge of turning the match around, but she simply couln't execute well enough when it mattered.
AO QR1: Kris finally gets a win over Peer, though it was not exactly straightforward: 6-4 4-6 6-3. She'll face Bonaventure in QR2.
