It says she entered top 200 (#197) and she is #11 in Italy. She is also the 8th under 18 player in the ranking.
Then it says that Camila is playing $25.000 in Darmstadt (Poland), where she could meet (in R2) Gojnea, who defeated her last week. Camila says she played a bad first set, because she wanted to close the rally too early, she came back in the second, but the third set was "weird". She thinks she is improving a lot, especially with the serve.
I was at the match. I absolutely fell in love with her. Unfortunately she lost, but she has big game. She needs to be a bit more passive and learn some patience. She kept coming in after balls that she had no business coming in after. When she was content to rally with Mayr was when she won 3 straight games to 5-5. Mayr just pushes everything back, probably the worst matchup type for her. She was crying after the match and seemed gutted she lost. She looked great though and hopefully she can tweak her game and rise up the rankings.
