Check this out! Maria and her team at Nike put together a really cool lookbook about her Australian Open 2010 dress and her new clothing collection under her name (Kai-Chen Chang, Julia Goerges, Anastasia Pivovarova and Madison Keys will be wearing them). There are 2 videos inside with few pictures of her Australian Open 2010 dress. The videos are interesting to watch as maria explains the process of designing her dresses throughout her career.
Well the neckline, waistband and racerback are all signs that this is definitely Martha's dress. But I wonder for what? Feels like we haven't seen her in dark blue, or dark colours for that matter, in ages. It's been full on pastels in slams
I also liked her AO 08 one. Simple and classic, and I liked the purple accents. I also really liked her shorts look at Wimbledon that one year. But I doubt we'll ever see those again.
If it's a wink to the French navy sailor, then this can make sense. A lot of outfits inspired by the French navy shirt are never old-fashioned, at least here in France.
But why the dress is already made and you can pre-order it in some country ?
It is or not, this is just a repetitive design of 2014 UO collection, look at the waist and the back. And I'm really sick of the transparency fabric even tho it's been on trend in SS15 Fashion Week.
I'm not a fashionista myself. I know the shorts are probably rightly hated, aesthetically. Yet maybe Maria just likes playing in them, feels comfortable, plenty of sports people do.
