A big congratulations to Donna and a public apology on my part for doubting you can make it
You sure passed another very important test today and showed strenght of character despite the odds. I wish you all the luck in the world tomorrow
Speaking of tomorrow, the second Pliskova won the first set against Cibulkova in a tie-break, just like I thought it could happen upon seing Cibulkova play for a bit yesterday...
And last but not the least, a note for the organisers: Dear geniuses, please make sure for the sake of everybody involved that you prepare another utterly moronic schedule for tomorrow - that means, no matches before 8 PM at least, so that players stand courtside at 2 AM waiting for the rain to stop. Oh, and now make sure to take the cameras off of the center court as well. Not that anybody expects a final to have any sort of live coverage. Your's truly...ma re
Wozniacki has magnificent shotmaking if you ask me, but it's not the power kind of one. She has to rely on all court tactics to make effective her sweet topspin mix, while still able to hit pretty decent winners when she feels them, especially with the backhand. Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.

Karo and Domi going the distance today, into the third set after just under two hours on court.
Btw, this result practically guarantees Donna a place in the main draw of all remaining grand slams this year. I think she just needs about 15 points to be sure, cause she is defending about 80 until the cut off for USO is made (I think Baku points come off later than that). And she is currently (so, without KL points) some 70 points ahead of #110, which is usually the last place to get you in a main draw of a major.
