Wozniacki has magnificent shotmaking if you ask me, but it's not the power kind of one. She has to rely on all court tactics to make effective her sweet topspin mix, while still able to hit pretty decent winners when she feels them, especially with the backhand. Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.
All of these photos are good, but every single ad on the webpage it takes me to is of some kind of hardcore pornography
Took me by surprise.
She played a really good match and high first serve percentage of what I watched
Even though Cirstea was not playing well, it really took an effort by Donna to win by that scoreline given all the rain delays
I really hope she can beat Rybarikova
Something interesting about Donna is that she seems to play so much better against good opponents than bad ones: think Istanbul 50K plus every 25K she played compared to this tournament and Tashkent

Great result for Donna. Seems that Sorana played awfully though.
Next match against Magdalena who is also very comfortable on grass, I think Donna has a decent chance though, I think she is very comfortable on quick surfaces too and if she serves well she can give lots of people problems.
Donna does seem to play better against better players and worse against worse ones- she should enter as high tier events as possible then. Playing lower level and high level players often require slightly different skills. For instance, against a strong player taking risks may well pay off, but against lower players you need to try to find a safer way to defeat them since you ought to be able to win.
