Well I want Clarisa to win, but I doubt she will after struggling past Maureen drake in round 1.
Winner could well be Paola Suarez or Anastacia Myskina.

Suarez Is My Pick

It is turning into an interesting event. If I had to put money on someone at this point it would be Paola Suarez.

well myskina is the #2 seed so i guess she is the favourite but martinez, majoli, suarez, pierce and fernandez are all great clay court players.

pierce made the quarters of the french open last year and hadn't played for awhile and now she has come and beaten an in-form marion bartoli quite easily.

i think pierce can be considered the favourtie but i'm hoping a russian can get through and the only 3 left in the draw are in pierce's quarter.
