Re: Madison Keys...future star

First match on Rod Laver tomorrow at 11am. Hopefully she won't be overwhelmed by the stage/occasion. Good luck!

Can't wait! I hate how this saying is overused, but Mad really has "nothing to lose" . It's all about the experience and to just go for it! An on day might just happen GL, MAD!

About seven hours before Madison's R3 match with Kerber, will Madison set the world on fire? Go Madison!

It's a lot of pressure. It's a good thing that she's not alone and that Sloane Stephens and Jamie Hampton are joining her in R3.

I thinking beating Kerber would put more spotlights on her, especially if she goes on and beats someone like Bartoli in R4.

As far as setting the world on fire that would only happen if she makes it to QF and beats someone like Sharapova!!!

It would be great if Madison plays QF with Sharapova, but both still need to win two more matches.

Re: Madison Keys...future star

I can't wait

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

She's going to beat Kerber and cause an upset, i can feel it.

It's a new art form showing people how little we care.

An hour to go!! Come on Mad I'm watching this whole match instead of studying and it better be worth it

Either ways its going to be a great learning experience and can't wait to see her when she reaches her full potential!!

In the last match against Paszek she had such easy power and it was really lovely to see

You're right, in a sense Madison has nothing to lose. A free mind can do wonders.

Re: Madison Keys...future star

I am watching this match and see that Madison has more weapons than Kerber, but Kerber is playing like a backboard and capitalizing on Madison's errors.

Winners/Unforced Errors (1st set)
Madison: 16/20
Kerber: 5/2

Kerber leading 6-2, but Madison broke back in 2nd set to tie it up at 1-1 and now leading on serve 2-1...

Re: Madison Keys...future star

Facing 3 break points, comes back to lead 4-3 (on serve)

A chance to break....deuce...looks like it is beginning to rain
