It'a an entirely new story....

Lindsay amazed me last night. Defeating Amelie Mauresmo 6-4 6-4! Before this, I didn't know what to expect. That and other factors have really made me change my opinion about Lindsay at Sydney and Oz....

1. Originally, Lindsay was supposed to be seeded #3 for Sydney. It is now more than likely that Kim will pull out because of her injury, which would promote Lindsay to #2 seed. Good news - no visit to a Belgian in the SF. Lindsay's record against Justine is a good one, and I'm sure she is eager to get revenge for Oz 2003.

2. Oz - Serena and Kim listed as questionable. If either one of them pulls out, Lindsay gets the #4 seed, making it much easier for her to get to the SF. If both of them pull out, Lindsay would be in an ideal situation, with the possibility of facing Amelie in the SF.

However it goes, I believe Lindsay has a really great chance of winning Sydney, and is a lock for the SF at Oz, and wouldn't at all be shocked if she made it to the finals, especially if she plays like she is playing now.

Let's go Lindsay!!!!!!
