Sydeny = Chance of keeping #1.

Hong Kong does not. AKA: Dump this and start of Down Under.

Seriously.

It's probably because they're forking over a huge appearance fee. Lindsay's been whoring that up lately.

If you want Lindsay to win the oz open it a good idea she's not playing the week before. With the top no shows in Sydney I'm surpised Lindsay hasn't been told to play in Sydney. I want her to win the oz open and if this is the path for her doing it so be it. I just wished she was playing the hopman cup instead Hong Kong though.

Hopman is pretty rubbish because not all the world class players will be there anyways. The HK exhibition has more competition, and plus I will be there - so I hope Lindsay DOES NOT pull out

I partly agree with it, but I think that Hong Kong is more of warm-up cos I don't think she's going to get out her way to win the exhibition matches , whereas Sydney is actually a tournament and as any tournament it has a potential risk of injury which is especialy undesirable before OZ open

Tennis is tennis no matter what conditions it's played under. Proof: Last year, Lindasy injured her knee in an exhibition match against Sharapova. Just because the atmosphere is a little lighter doesn't mean it isn't tennis. Injuries happen everywhere.

This, btw, shouldn't even be called an exhibition. Every player here plays to win it. And the field is probably better than any Tier I had last year. If that doesn't say it ...

And even if Lindsay lost every match, she'd have to play three matches. And that's assuming she lost every match. And when and if she does win, she gets to play players that have given her shit loads of problems - Venus, Kim, Serena.

I think all signs point to Sydeny, eh.

That's pretty much how I feel about it. She's playing a load of top players for no points, no rewards, nothing. And it's alot of work.

Andrew see the above statement I take it all back. Now I know how the Hong Kong tournment works. I agree with you on Lindsay playing in Sydney if she doesn't she is going to be under done three matches in singles and doubles if Lindsay and Nicole don't win their first doubles match is nowhere near enough. I see the logic in not playing the week before but in this case she should.

Andrew I seem to be agreeing with you alot lately is scaring me.
