Where can we buy Wimbledon tickets?

This is just a thought but i'm considering going to Wimbledon - the "most prestigious tournament" in tennis - this summer. Where can I get tickets? I would appreciate if you could help me, since most of the Lindsay fans here live in England.

eBay will be the only place. wimbledon tickets are only distributed through a ballot and have already been allocated. if you want to go you have to get tix off ebay or go and queue on the day

so then, if you want to see a quarter-final match, you just queue the day before and guaranteed to have a ticket?

That is pretty much it as far as I know. The closer you are to the front of the queue (ie the earlier you get there) the more chance you have of getting centre or court one seats. I think also, Quarters is the last day you are able to queue up for CC and C1 tickets. Semi's have already been given out.

Quater Finals day is the last chance you can queue for tickets for any match at wimby. But when we say Queue the Brits mean....queue! This is probably straight after play the day before the quaters.....there are 500 centre court tickets, and 500 court number 1 tickets up for grabs...and because when u queue its only one person per ticket that means only 1,000 lucky people will get the tickets! And when theres probably in the region of 5,000 people queueing or more......theyre pretty hard to get!

Although as I think Kelly said they're will be corporate and hospitality packages...that just do tickets and hotels, or tickets/hotels/flights, but this my dear will set you back anything in the region of £500-£1,000 maybe even more! Although you will be guarenteed a ticket and NO queuing!

Ebay is another option...but once the bidding gets going you could be paying £300-£500 for tickets.....again very expensive!

Which method you choose will depend on how much money you have to spend, and how much you are willing to pay.....somtimes it does seem ethically wrong to charge £400 for a centre court ticket for quater finlas day....when if you queued and got one you would pay like £42!

As you probably know you would have more chance at getting tickets for US Open and any day!!!! Which I believe will be lindsays tourney and truely believe she'll win and go out with a huge bang!!

Good luck ticket hunting , if you need any more info...give me a shout!

Thanks people. So are the 1000 tickets on sale for Quarter-final matches only? Or can you also buy a ticket for the final match.

Im afraid you can't buy final days tickets on the day by queueing...or semi finals tickets for that matter, they are already allocated to people. The last chance you will get to get centre court or court 1 tickets for men/woman by queuing is quaterfinal days (tuesday/wednesday of the second week).

As we said there are only 500 for each court (centre court/Court1)...so You have to camp out realy easly like overnight.....but its really fun as you meet loads of people and you have lots of banter and BBQ's in the queue....its really fun....infact wimbledon is a great day/week/trip!

If you go....you'll have an amazing time!

Fingers crossed it dont rain..........You know what UK is like!

Ah, so if you want to buy 4th round tickets, then it's not as much of a hassle as it is to queue for QF, yes?

Getting any wimbledon tickets is one big hassel!!!!!!!

Unless you are in a UK tennis squad/club or you apply via the LTA ballot or the public ballot you dont really have much of a chance to get showcourt tickets im afraid.

Getting 4th round tickets is just as hard as getting QF, SF, tickets again thyre are only 500 tickets for courts 1 and centre court available via the queueing system....you realy cant get out of camping! However you will ground passes for most days if you queue, but you dont get to see teh big matches on the showcourts.....however alot of the outsides courts in the first week has alot of seeded players on them! ANd in teh evening times you see alot of doubles playingn on the outside courts, i saw davenport play lots of times on teh outside courts for doubles!

Or as we said....you can buy tickets via hospitality packages...but these are very expensive...like between £400-£800!!!!! Tennis aint cheap! infact wimledon aint cheap.........£5 for a few strawberrys and cream Bet it goes up this year too!

Anyway hope that helps.....best best is to see lindsay onpractise courts...cause she always signs and has a little chat with fans!

so Let me clear this up: 1000 tickets (showcourts) for every round starting from 1st till the QF, yes? And groundpasses basically don't run out?

Yup you got it!

500 Centre Court tickets (day 1 to Quater finals on sale at door)
500 Court 1 Tickets (day 1 to quater Finals on sale at door)
500 Court 2 Tickets (day 1 to quater finals on sale at door)

Ground passes you can pretty much always get.....BUT you still gotta queue...and when you see this queue youll be like sometimes it can run 3/4miles long!

As i said before if you can afford it I suggest you buy the corporate packages = NO QUEUE!

I searched yesterday and can you can probably pick up tickets only for £200! (thats for first couple of says court 1 /centre court)
