Her problem was not so muchan injury as it was an attitude problem.

She couldn't move, and all injuries discourage Lindsay. She openly admits she plays like shit when she's injured.

It's a mental part of the game impossible to be ready for, and that's what makes it so hard for Lindsay.

I have a very strong feeling that Lindsay will retire very soon. I think she'll skip the entire Euro Indoor season, play Phili or something else and then LA, then retire.

I definitely believe Lindsay was injured.
But I'm not 100% sure that it was the primary reason for her loss.

Maybe her injury was really really bad, and she couldn't have played the final anyway.
But maybe the injury just caused her to go back to her tanking mode which was totally gone against Venus.

Whatever it is, it's absolutely devastating.

I can't believe it! Poor Lindsay! I think it was half injury half mentality. But in the last points it was obvious that she couldn't move.

Why is it that the world never remembered the name of Johann Gambolputty de von Ausfern-

I really believed she was injured, even in the first set she looked in some kind of pain. I don't think she tanked the match at all, she tried as much as she could, but when you can't run it makes it look as if she's not trying.

I really wanted to see her win this

true. She forgot that she won the Australian Open with that injury.

She's had that injury for how many times now? 100 times? Miss Davenport used to be able to win matches with it but Mrs. Leach seems to have forgotten that.

3-0, third set.

4-4, 40-15, third set.

She also killed a ton of chances that third set. She was up 3-0, should have held for 5-4...

The interview is really weird, but almost in a positive way. She said that she doesn't not expect to be back next year. She seems to really like her chances in Australia.

Oh well. With good indoor results she'll be number one anyway, which will get her a great seeding at the Aus.

Were any of you actually watching the match! She could barely move to any of the balls at all! Wake up to yourselves!
