I know that there are bunches of threads about this already, but i figured i'd add to it.
I just figured out that on the massive European Choir Tour i'm going on this summer, that I'll be in London on June 28th through July 1st. And it just NOW dawned on me that that is indeed during Wimbledon. One of those days is bound to be a "free" day where we dont have Choir rehersal, so i was thinking of treking down to Wimby to queue for a grounds pass. I have no idea how hard that is, or how early i'd need to get there, but we'll see what happens. Hell, if i'm that fricking close, there's no way i'm not gonna at least TRY and go, right?
I'm all excited now. Wooo!
This is my home, the country where my heart is;
Here are my hopes, my dreams, my holy shrine;
But other hearts in other lands are beating
With hopes and dreams as true and high as mine.
My country's skies are bluer than the ocean,
And sunlight beams on cloverleaf and pine;
But other lands have sunlight too, and clover,
And skies are everywhere as blue as mine.
O hear my song, thou God of all the nations,
A song of peace for their land and for mine.
