Into Round 2 of doubles, win/win situation!

Lindsay/Corina are going to play Martina/Lisa in the 2nd round, which I think is a win/win situation. If Lindsay and Corina win, then they are a shoe-in for the finals and probably to win the whole shabang; but if they lose, then Lindsay won't have to play doubles anymore. She can use that time to rest and not risk any injury. So either way, go Lindsay and Corina!

LINDSAY DAVENPORT
Mary Pierce-----Monica Seles-----Martina Hingis

She's playing doubles to help with the conditions - I think the indoor conditions helped her more today even though she played the doubles outside yesterday

Their match tomorrow is 4th up on MCA - because Lisa has to play singles as well tomorrow while Martina and Corina are playing mixed doubles today so all players will have played in some form.

They're into the 3rd round against Ani/Prusova who beat the 15 seeds Schett/Schnyder.

Looking at this draw anything is possible - the only down side for Lindsay is she has to play singles and doubles on the same day

i hope she can complete the doubles slam now. i think i'd like that just as much as a singles win

Så är jag din, din, din att ta med
Att ta ut, att ta in i någonting nytt

Unfortunately they couldn't repeat their performance today in the 2+ hour match

They lost 5/7 7/5 4/6

Lindsay was broken twice!
