My Predictions (dont usually happen)

1.Anne Keothavong (75-95)
2.Elena Baltacha (80-100)
3.Jane O'Donoghue (165-185)
4.Lucie Ahl (190-200) (not much change)
5.Sarah Borwell (220)
6.Hannah Collin (240)
7.Julie Pullin (250) (but surely no suprise)
8.Helen Crook (350)
9.Amanda Janes (375)
10.Jo Moore (390)

Next Year Julie and Helen will fall dramatically (if they are still playing) and they will be replaced by Katie O'Brien & Mel South.
Next In; (no order) Karen Paterson, Anna Hawkins, Rebecca Dandeniya , Holly Bagshaw , Megan Emmett & Alice MacKenzie.
And above most of them (now I have remebered); Emily Webley-Smith, Annabel Youthed, Chantal Coombs & Lyndsey Reilly.

Megan is currently the Brit number 29, so why can she not become the British number 20, it is only about 6 points. Although she has had some terrible results, but it only takes one or two good tournaments.
Anyway, I know that their are better players from Britain than her like; Emily Webley-Smith (who I forget about and is much better than Megan), Chantal Coombs, Melissa Berry & Annabel Yoouthed. But when compiling my list they all slipped my mind. So I would now put them in ahead of her now.
But like I said my predictions don't usually happen.

I have changed my mind about the top 10, but only slightly;

1. Anne Keothavong (80)
2. Elena Baltacha (90)
3.Jane O'Donoghue (165)
4.Sarah Borwell (190)
5. Lucie Ahl (200)
6.Hannah Collin (240)
7.Julie Pullin (250)
8.Helen Crook (300)
9.Amanda Janes (370)
10.Karen Paterson or Katie O'Brien (both around 450)

Followed by; Jo Moore & Mel South (around 500)

Pf @ everyone placing Julie Pullin very low. She's having a bad year but she'll find her form, just like last year. And even when's she's playing bad she's still miles better than most Brits. I see her definately finishing the year in the top 4 at least, number 2 at best.

I reckon Anne will be the number one. She's had not only some great results in Britain but some excellent wins overseas. And she's much less injury prone than Elena.

I definatly think Anne will be British no.1 by the end of the year but I doubt she will crack the top 100.

i think anne will pass baltacha and become the #1 because baltacha is playing very badly and isn't playing much. whereas anne is playing pretty well and playing aboout the same amount of tournaments as elena but she is winning mre and getting more points. it is just a matter of time before she becomes #1 unless elena can pull herself together.
