Lisa Whybourn

I swear she had a thread of her own, but I couldn't find it so I made a new one.
Anyway, the youngster has recieved a QWC in Birmingham (Her first ever WTA event) and this is her section of the draw:

(1)KANEPI, Kaia EST
DITTY, Julie USA
(WC)WHYBOURN, Lisa GBR
(9)FERGUSON, Sophie AUS

Good Luck Lisa!

Re: Lisa Whybourn

Anna Floris defeated Mona Barthel 7-5 3-6 6-2. Apparently, that was Anna Floris's first match on grass. So, good luck Lisa!

Re: Lisa Whybourn

What a great run! I saw her a couple of weeks ago in Nottingham and was very unimpressed. Maybe I just caught her on a bad day. This is a great result though.

Kuznetsova

... for some reason.

Last Brit standing.

Maybe she's found her grass feet a bit in the last week or so.
