The Peterzan Sisters Progress Chart Thread!

I think with our favourite British tennis playing siblings making their first strides into professional competition, that they should be rewarded for their efforts with a marvellous progress chart on the 'Strawberries and Cream' section of WTAWorld I believe that these explosive sisters are reading to snatch the mantle of the number 1 tennis siblings from the intimidating Serra Zanettis and the quirky Klemenschits

Claire is the older sibling at 18, and has already made excellent Challenger progress, reaching the final of the $10K challenger in Bath this year and the quarters of the $25K in Glasgow last year. She has raised her ranking to 487 and is clearly destined for stardom

Laura is younger and has been playing mostly juniors up until this year (quite well I might add ). But she started off the year by coming through qualifying at the Tipton $10K event and when she qualified for the grass events in Oxford $10K and Surbiton $25K she obtained her ranking for the first time! Now she can build on that and join her sister in rocketing up the ranks!

The fruit series is suspended whilst Grachka (obatafan) mourns Saori's retirement.

Go Peterzans.

I've only seen Laura play one match and she was quite good. Could do with hitting the ball harder but i'm sure she does by now.

Claire certainly has beefed up her game in the 2 years i've seen her and she is defo gonna go far.

GOOD LUCK IN 2016 GB TENNIS GIRLS

Johanna Konta, Naomi Broady, Tara Moore, Heather Watson , Laura Robson

Claire beat Trudi Musgrave in the first round 42 ret. and plays Surina de Beer next! I think she has a great shot at the quarterfinal and beyond despite what Ajmo thinks!

In $10K Baltimore, Claire is seeded 3 and plays Blakely Griffifth in the first round. She has a great draw to make the semis as the seeded player in her quarter is Beau Jones. Go Claire!

Claire faces Sarah Taylor in the $10K Evansville first round and will most likely face fellow Brit Georgia Rose in the second round. Go Claire!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Laura is playing the European Individual Junior CHampionships and won her first round in straight sets. She faces I believe Monica Niculescu in the second round. Go Laura!

Laura qualified for the $10K Wrexham main draw and beat the #1 seed Rushmi Chakravarthi 75 75 in the first round. She faces Sarah Coles in the second round so should make the quarterfinal! Go Laura!
