Re: Right jab: Jodie Burrage

Really glad Jodie has her own thread now. Some brilliant results recently in Italy and Morocco. Excited to see what she can do at RG even though she has to go through qualifying.

Surprised she isn't playing the GA Trofeo Bonfiglio in Italy next week. Anybody know where she will next play?

Re: Right jab: Jodie Burrage

She's down for the Astrid Bowl, and the FO qualies, if she can't earn a SE.

I hope she qualifies for the AO. She has been one of my favourite juniors for a while and I have been ecstatic for her recent success. I also think she has a ton of potential to go further.

Re: Right jab: Jodie Burrage

With her recent success it's certainly time Jodie had her own thread.

Her recent wins...

G2 33° Torneo Internazionale Under 18 di Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy
Singles

Doubles (with Federica Bilardo)

G1 Mediterranee Avenir, Casablanca, Morocco
Singles

All those matches won in straight sets, apart from the Italy doubles semifinal. A pretty good run.

Re: Right jab: Jodie Burrage

She ain't in Charleroi, so I guess she's going to take her chances in the RG girls' qualies.

Those trophies wouldn't disgrace a slam - especailly the winner's!

Angelique Kerber - Johanna Konta - Naomi Osaka - Nadia Petrova - Laura Robson - Francesca Schiavone - Samantha Stosur - Taylor Townsend - Heather Watson

Disappointing loss, but you can't win them all.

I know, but it would have been great to see her get into a junior slam rather than go out in quallies.
