I went to Coubertin today and I just fell in love with her game. She lost very severely 61 60, but she showed at some moments a great talent, not far from Ana Ivanovic's.
She has a good serve, but unfortunately, her first ball was not there when she needed it. Aga pushed her to make the double fault in moving when Gracia was to serve
She has an amazing forehand and a good backhand, especially the crossed one. I also like the way she tries to go to the net, most of the winners she hit were topspin volleys. For that reason, she will have a great future, if she stays healthy and continues her efforts of course. The future belongs to the girls who dare coming to the net, Gracia is one of them !
She had a lot of supports in Coubertin, maybe too much, as it perturbed her at the end of the match. She was under pressure and very angry after herself. I notice that she uses almost always Serbian when she talks to herself. I love the way she says AJDE !
She is definitely one of the most promising French players and she is very Ivanovic like. I hope she will find the consistency to reveal her talent !
She seemed to be OK physically.
Aga was too good, too clever and too consistent for her at the present moment. Still a good experience for her, though because she will have to play Aga to win big tournaments !
Ajde Gracia !
