Re: Mayline Andrieux
It was a good idea creating this thread.
I did not follow Mayline results in the past years but I believe that she has been hampered by several injuries.
I am convinced that she can achieve better than her current highest ranking at 276 in 2006 (she was only 19 that year after all).
She has not lost her motivation anyway, which is good to see. This week for instance, she had signed up for not less than 5 tournaments :
Choice #1 - $75,000 Zagreb 2008
Choice #2 - $50,000+H Jounieh 2008
Choice #3 - $50,000 Bucharest 2008
Choice #4 - $25,000 Florence 2008
Choice #5 - $25,000 Antalya - Manavgat 2008
and decided to play at Jounieh.
It takes a lot of dedication and motivation to organise tournaments ahead this way.
Mayline is besides having good results in Jounieh : she reached the main draw after winning 2 qualifying rounds, coming back from a knee injury the week before.
Though luck however since she faces the #1 seed in the main draw.
Good luck to her in her next matches / tournaments.
