As expected, they lost the doubles SF 1-6 1-6
Their opponents ended up winning the title without dropping more than two games in a set the entire tournament (four matches played)
Unfortunately for Angeliki, this week’s 10K Tunisia did not go as planned. She got a bye in QR1 and then beat an unranked Japanese girl in straight sets in QR2. In QR3 she lost to (14) Cristina Sanchez-Quintanar ESP (#1148, former 668) 0-6 6-2 3-6
At first I was disappointed, but now I see this girl upset #450 Skamlova in R1
Not such a bad loss after all
No doubles this week and I don’t think she’s playing next week, so we’ll see her the week of 16-22 February in Sharm el Sheikh
