Wow, I see that you are going to visit a lot of events.
Unfotunately I don't have enough money, so I only may be in Sopot - but Lena rather will not be there.

...Don´t smile.
Don't you smile
You´re supposed to wither away with me, so, Juliette...
Please, don´t smile
I´m paralyzed and you are still alive.

Cool! What do you think are the chances of her playing a grass event other than Wimbledon in the UK? I bet you are praying that Lena will be scheduled on Tuesday then As long as she isnt on centre court or court 2 then your sorted

hehe indeed!!

but of course there is always the practice courts too!!

Lena is already aware of the SS Dementieva and her crew ,courtesy of a fellow crew member of ours giving her some letters!!

So if I introduce myself as Captain Dementinator ,it will be interesting to see her response ,on second thoughts ,hmmmm ,maybe not ,shes bigger than me!! and as much as i cant wait to see the legendary Forehand myself ,i would rather it not be straight in my kisser!!

Incedently Lena did play Edgbaston in 2003 I believe!!

She played s'Hertogenbosch in 2003 if I remember correctly. I think it depends on how she goes in the French Open. If she goes really deep, she'll miss the grass lead up events and give herself a break like last year.

I'm done for 2005, I get the Australian Summer, then I have to sit back for the rest of the year. I'm wondering though, what is Wimbledon like? Is there an aura around the place? It's one of my life goals to attend Wimbledon one day....

But Court 2 also has some space for standing if you do not have a court 2 ticket. This year I think I will have time only to go to Wimby so I hope Lena does better this year. Last year I only saw her on the practise courts.

Wimbledon def has a fantastic Aura ,I have been many times and the atmosphere has to be experienced ,its superb!

On a couple of occasions it has rained and I hardly saw any play ,but somehow you can still have fun!!

Eastbourne is nice too ,has a feeling all of its own and if you want to actually stand a chance of talking or getting a signiture or pic from a player its much easier there tna Wimbledon ,its more relaxed!

One more thing ,a tip ,Join the LTA ,wether you play or not ,as this puts you into the automatics LTA ballot for wimb tickets and you have a much higher chance of getting any I have had about 6 lots now in 10 years..

It costs around £25 and you get ACE magazine every month too!!

If you join the Famous Wimbledon Queue (line) at around 7.30am ,you WILL get into ground and some of the best matches I have seen have been on outside courts ,you get up real close to the action ,be careful of Lenas Forehands tho!!

Yes, I have had LTA ballot tickets every year that I have applied. And this year I have also public ballot tickets too. But also I am working again for the Securicor Security again this year so I get paid to watch it . It is a very excellent job if you get assigned a good position, but probably very boring for the people who must stand in front of a door for two weeks.
