Non Tennis - favourite books

We have thread about favourite bands and music. Maybe it's god idea to know your favourite books.

For me it's har to choose the best books so I say about favourite writers:
David Gemmel (fantasy - the bast book, I think, is 'Waylander' and 'Legend')
R.A. Salvatore (fantasy - 'Homeland')
Andre Norton (fantasy and science fiction - 'Daybreak... 2250 A.D.')
Terry Pratchett (fantasy - Good omens - but it is not fantasy book)
Alex Kava (thriller - 'The soul catcher', 'A perfect evil', 'Split second')

I also like Russian (not because of Lena ) writers like:
Fyodor Dostoyevski (Dostoevskii) - Crime and Punishment
Mihail Bulgakov - The Master and Margarita
Leo Tolstoi - War and Peace
Ivan Turgenev - First Love
Nikolay Gogol - Dead Souls

I love reading books. Last year I read 100 books.

...Don´t smile.
Don't you smile
You´re supposed to wither away with me, so, Juliette...
Please, don´t smile
I´m paralyzed and you are still alive.

I have read only 1 book, because I don't like reading very much.
I think it's enough to read my schoolbooks
Last summer I read the book A Walk to Remember from the writer Nicholas Sparks. I liked the movie. That's why I read the book too. The book is also very good.

Elena Dementieva

also GOOD luck to: Alona Bondarenko, Victoria Azarenka, Daniela Hantuchova, Maria Kirilenko, Anna Chakvetadze

Hmm... I don't get to read as much as I used to, but some of my favourites are:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy"

And one that I wouldn't have expected when I started reading it, but I found it to be a really fascinating is Jack Kramer's "My 40 Years in Tennis"

I like alot of fantasy from LOTR to Robert Jordan and David Eddings et al.
I also like alot of the Kinky Friedman books. Hes a Jewish Texan crime fiction writer and quite the comedian. I highly recommend it.
