Does anyone know the address to send Elena encouraging letters?

First, we have established tradition to hand our cheering letters to Lena at big tourneys - this year, it was done at RG, USO, KC - and we had 3 finals. I'm sure we'll continue that tradition and find someone to fly - or swim - to AO

Second, you can try to post to forum.dementieva.ru - some people say she comes there, but "her postings" there are supposedly fake, as well as address in them...

Third, you can try something like "Moscow, to Elena Dementieva" via mail, great chance it will be delivered, she's so well-known in her city...
Or you can send a letter for her through Russian Tennis Federation (see tennis-russia.ru)

I live in Melbourne. I will go to the AO, though I don't know how I'm going to deliver any messages to her...

I normally don't go to tourneys, because the tickets are too expensive, especially at grand slams. But this time, I vow that if Lena makes it to the finals, I will buy a Rod Laver ticket, even if it costs hundreds of dollars (and that's a BIG if). I'll at least go to the first round though, where it's affordable, and hopefully she won't lose...

The AO on TV is pretty boring the first few days. They only televise aussie matches here, even if it's crap people. They are on at prime time too. The good matches don't get shown if an aussie is playing in another match. The good thing is most aussies usually lose before the 4th round, then you only get quality viewing. Hopefully they all lose early next year, so I don't have to go there to see a good match.

We have nothing to worry about. Barring Hewitt and Molik, I don't see any of them making it past the first round... Todd Reid... LOL. I'm in Sydney, so I'll go to the Syndey International (Formerly Adidas) I don't know how I'll get letters to her either, but I'll probably go to 4 or 5 days next year. And yeah, if she makes the final, I'll find a way to see it, even if the tickets are sold out, and it'll put me in debt

So how have our friends who have delivered letters managed it?

sorry pal, no known tourneys in your lovely country. but you can go to Eastbourne if Lena comes there - or Wimby
many ppl met her and some posted here, you can find many mentions and photos, say in her FanClub... And she is arguably the most liked top player, why d'you think she has so many fans - and postings as well?

Great ideas. Send lots of positive thoughts to Elena, although we want to encourage a win, not a loss.

I promise to tell my story - it seems I was the last one for now - later this week.
And soon Verba will be the most lucky...
