Re: Christina McHale

What type of injury/illness did Christina suffer last year?

Re: Christina McHale

Really sad to see I really hope she can regroup and come back. This year is a rebuilding year, and sadly it might take her dropping down to the challenger circuit to get her game sorted out again. No shame in that.

Ironic because she has had some of her best results on clay this year and in the past......

Yeah, that's sad, and she lost to URad yesterday. She'll get better.

Re: Christina McHale

I just love Christina. Her humble and sweet personality just opposes her attitude of being competitive and powerful in the court. I just love her! I hope she can cope up with her health. She is one of the best players in the WTA tour.

Re: Christina McHale

She should try playing like a 75k or something for confidence. She is ranked 93 now...

Still riding that Ivanovic coaster

She played well yesterday and it could have gone either way. She was down 4-5 in the second set and had was serving to level the match. She had been mis-hitting balls all day but these couldn't have come at a worse time as she was broken and lost the second set. That killed her confidence going into the third set. She sure had the crowd behind her but even our spirits were broken after that.

These are from her Sunday practice with Kerber.

I think she should play the US hardcourt swing, and if things don't turn around, play the USTA Pro Circuit in the fall, or travel to Europe and play some of the 50k and 75k events there. I definitely think she should skip Asia unless her results really spike.

Re: Christina McHale

Everytime Christina loses, my heart breaks IMO, she should start from the beginning to refresh her confidence boost and most importantly, her game. Ugh, mono surely sucks, why Christina? There are many players on the tour :lol But seriously, she's ranked 115 now, playing qualies, that is not her level. I think she should go back to top 30. Please have a comeback Christina! We love you very much! She should really win a match, too many losses this season. Fuck mono
