Tough loss to Goerges/Stosur yesterday. Actually saw the match - Goerges/Stosur played a great match while Liezel really struggled to find her form and missed a lot of uncharacteristic volleys. It seemed as though they really picked on Liezel early on and she was a bit thrown. She needed more first serves in as they really struggled to do anything with the returns that were coming back at them with interest.
Lisa played ok- she wasn't really much of a factor in this match as it seems they isolated her. Her new clothing looks great and she is as fit as I recall ever seeing her. On to charleston and hope they can regain their form that took them on a 16-0 match streak!
They should beat them. I was nervous about Goerges/Zheng and Goerges/Stosur, but Lisicki/Zvonareva? Vera has not been in good form at all and has Sveta carry her. Lisicki just brings the power game to doubles, which Lisa/Liezel are used to. I think Lisa/Liezel should come through this by attacking both girls whenever they are net.
