New thread as 15k Tweeds provisional EL comes out next Friday :D

It's exciting to see whom we might find on these upcoming entry lists.

I have a feeling Arina might be back to play these. I hope Storm does as well but then she doesn't really have a habit of playing 15ks
I think we'll get the usual suspects like Moore, Bai, Hives, Peers, Myers, Hon, Rajicic, Collie, Patterson

Issy seems like she's gone away somewhere

College has started again so the likes of Sharma, Perez, Woolcock, Harris won't be playing.

I wonder if those currently overseas like Svinos, Fourlis, Inglis, Birrell, Tjandramulia, Aiava, Tomic, Mendez, Jovanovic, Smith will be back for these events?

I honestly doubt Sara is coming back.

In other exciting news: Nannaz will be player the latter ITFs :hearts: I wonder if she will stay in AUS for like playoff and AO series? Considering the last ITF ends in mid November, it'll be quite pointless to go back to Europe for a month or so and then come back for the playoff. All-in-all I hope she stays, but maybe she could try playing some Asian ITFs. There are some big ones in Japan at the end of the year.

^ yes its great to see Storm playing here and not thinking she's above 15K's. With some solid overseas tours behind here and a good training break, hopefully she comes out with some good results.

Ashling is back too!

Bai and Moore have these as priority 2, hopefully they play here.

Zoe might still be recovering from that knee injury. Hopefully it's not an ACL after all.

The girls that toured overseas this year... Baric,Smith etc.... best of luck to them.

As expected, a host of withdrawals from Tweed Heads the last few days. The last direct entry to MD so now is Kimthonyqld Birrell.

Tomic, Collie, Myers, Kafedjiyska, Svinos, Stojanovic are among the withdrawals.

Interesting that U.S. Open junior champ Dalma Galfi is here. Very interested to see how she goes.

:oh:

Expected that Tomic, Svinos, Stojanovic withdraw. Whats wrong with Abbie? Seems so injury prone. Same with Kafedjiyska who did pretty well in the recent AMT.

25k Cairns list is out

None in the MD for now. Highest ranked Aussie is Rogowska. The likes of Tomic, Myers, Inglis, Collie, Svinos, Stojanovic, Tjandramulia (who all w/d from Tweeds) are on the list.

A few more withdrawals for Cairns. Jess will now be seeded and Storm and Alison are now in the main draw. Sally and Pri are 2 and 3 spots out respectively.

Rogowska, Tomic, Inglis, Collie and Stojanovic have all withdrawn.

Wouldn't it be lovely if someone, anyone broke out during this series and became a real competitor on the circuit. I worry about our fortunes with the downward slide of Dellacqua and Gajdosova and noone even close to replacing them on the horizon. Let's hope anyhow!

^ Fingers crossed that Alison, Jess and Storm can make an impression during this series. I remember the days when Evie and Rachel McQuillan used to take turns in winning these events!

I remember Daddy Bains said he would take no more TA w/c's. I wonder if he's backtracked and Naiktha has a w/c for this event?

Pity Joanne retired. Hopefully Alicia and Tammi can qualify here.

Alana Parnaby had a shocker. Lost 1-6 0-6 to Petra Hule.

Tammi and Ashley qualified easily. A double bagel for Tammi :cheer: and 6-2 6-0 for Ashley. Nice to have these two back winning. They've been quiet the last two years.

Annie Donaldson did well to win the 1st set 6-4 from 0-2 down.
